Youtube timeee

Sooo
I was on youtube...and wasn't looking for videos on diversity but they just kind of fell into my lap. They are quick, brief but I thought it was interesting. I tried to figure out how to put in my blog for like 2 minutes but I got frustrated and just stopped trying because it's probably wicked easy. So here's the link:

There are other videos too that go along with the IBM company. I saw links for ones for African Americans, women, Aboriginal, East and South Asian, people with disabilities, etc., Pretty interesting. They even have a religious accomadations video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nL-IBE5NZXA&feature=related ).

This is from the IBM website as well, discussing their diversity committment:

I have never seen these before!! I think these are sooooo interesting. Wouldn't it be interesting to do a series of videos like this for RIC? (I think we might have to change things a little to make them more accommodating first, though.) :)

BTW, to put the video right in your blog, you just need to copy and paste the EMBED code that is listed to the right of the video itself.

Interesting videos. I have a friend that works for Google and he tells me that IBM is an awful company to work for. I didn't find much proof of that, besides some sort of pension program that they developed that allegedly discriminated against their oldest employees, and this article on their involvement in the holocaust

That is so scary. I never knew that IBM played such a huge role. I don't even know what to say. A company that is so much a part of our lives and homes had a really dark side.
